Level 1 Class 5 year old - grade 5 (23-24 school year) Thursdays from 4:00 - 5:00pm June 13, 20, 27, July 11, 18, 25 Pioneer Gym door 19 Level 1 (must have passed Beginner level.) Vault: Pop Up (straight legs, no hands) Bars: Pullover (must master to pass), High front support, 3 glide swings. Beam: Jumps, Kicks, and pivots. Gymnasts will become more comfortable on the high beams.Floor: Handstand roll down, straight arm backward roll, running cartwheel, round-off, bridge kick-over on floor, back bend from standing. Offered by Jayden Smieja. Wear comfortable clothing, pull hair back and bring a water bottle. Gymnastic classes will be offered with a minimum ratio of 1 coach to every 8 gymnasts in order to provide supervision and guidance for safety. *Classes are for 3yo-3rd grade. 4th-6th grade may join if already have Lvl. 1 skills mastered* If your athlete is new to our gymnastics program, and you believe they are at a higher level then Beginner, please contact Coach Smieja at jsmieja@pierzschools.org
